This changed my life: Speaking the Word of God out loud

The Power of Speaking the Word of God Out Loud

Whatever challenge or obstacle you are dealing with in your life, this is your reminder that it is by speaking the Word of God that you will overcome. When you choose to open your mouth and declare scripture with faith, something shifts in the spiritual realm.

If even Jesus had to quote the word by faith so that the devil would leave Him, how much more we? Jesus didn’t argue with the enemy. He didn’t reason or negotiate. He simply spoke the Word, and the enemy backed off.

The Bible says in Matthew 4:10–11, resist the devil and he will flee. And one of the greatest ways to resist him is by speaking the Word of God in faith and with authority.

How Speaking the Word of God Defeats the Enemy

You have heard so many sermons; now is the time we need to apply the Word to our own life and do what it says. It is time to stop always relying on people or the systems of this world. The breakthrough you’re waiting for is often released when you choose to stand on scripture and confess it boldly.

I am not talking about thinking about the Word or just using your own words, but I am talking about speaking the Word of God out loud by faith over your situation. Because there is power in that Word. The Word is spirit, it carries creative power, and it can turn every situation around.

Just like a warrior in ancient battles who struck down the enemy with his sword, the Word of God strikes down and finishes off every enemy coming against your life. It may not always be visible instantly but if you keep declaring and truly believing the Word, God will turn your situation around.

So if you are someone who is always in lack, you can take a Bible verse that you can stand on, believe it, and speak it over your situation daily.

For example, you can read out loud John 10:10 that says: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

And then you also declare and say:

“I no longer tolerate lack in my life because it is written in God’s Word in John 10:10 that He has given me the abundant life.”

This is the power of speaking the Word of God. It has creative power to turn things around in your life and to silence the enemy.

Here is the key: The scripture you speak out loud must be a word that you truly believe in without a shadow of a doubt and a word that you had a revelation about. This is when the Word sinks into your spirit and bears fruit, and you will see the results in your life.
