JennifersWord.com is a platform dedicated to helping people draw closer to the heart of God. Through simple teachings that are based on my own experience of walking with the Lord, as well as God given revelations, my goal is to help people get clarity, breakthrough, deliverance, victory, and fresh direction for their lives.
I was born and raised in Switzerland and placed into foster care at a very young age… just one of the many attempts by the enemy to abort God’s calling upon my life. While my mother always remained present in my life, I was raised by a Swiss foster family and later moved with them to a remote mountain area village with a population of just 450 people. During my early teenage years, my biological father became a prominent political figure in Ghana. Thus, my family dynamics were a bit complex, but what the enemy intended for harm, God used for good, bringing forgiveness, healing, and redemption to every area of my life.
At the age of 21, after receiving a miracle scholarship to study at a 4 year University in the US, I gave my life to Jesus within the first week of arriving in the United States and radically left behind all worldly ways. The following year, during a visit to Florida, I received the prophetic call on my life, confirmed supernaturally at two different churches within the same week (because God knew I might doubt it otherwise). Since then, I’ve had several supernatural encounters including hearing the audible voice of God, that have marked my journey and fueled my passion to see others awakened and walking in purpose.
I know what it feels like to be misunderstood, an outsider, rejected and I also know what it’s like to be treated with high regard and honor. This contrast, along with the many ups and downs and trials as well as the many years in the wilderness that I experienced in life, became part of my preparation and gave me the unique ability to relate to people from different backgrounds and to speak to hearts across cultures and experiences with the help of the Holy Spirit.
I am a mother of three wonderful teenagers and I am currently serving as an ordained Elder at New International Church in Switzerland, where I am involved in various ministries and where I have been deeply planted and aligned with the vision of the church for many years under the wonderful leadership of my pastors. Through mentorship, training, and years of character development, God has continued to shape me and I am being continually prepared to make an impact in this world and do exploits for the Kingdom of God.
