Salvation

What are your next steps?

Salvation is the beginning of a brand new life in Jesus Christ. When you receive Him as your Lord and Savior, your sins are forgiven, your past is erased, and you are spiritually reborn. You now belong to God and are part of His family.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
This is not the end— but it is the beginning of your journey with God.

  1. Get a Bible — Know the God Who Saved You

Start reading the Word of God daily. It’s your spiritual food and your guide for life.
Recommended versions: NIV (New International Version) or NKJV (New King James Version)
(Both are easy readable and faithful to the original texts)
Why it matters: The Bible reveals God’s character, His promises, and His plan for your life. Without it, you will struggle to grow or recognize the truth.

  1. Find a Bible Believing, Spirit-Filled Church — You’re Not Meant to Walk Alone

This is Biblical. Surround yourself with other believers in a local church that preaches the full Word of God and allows the Holy Spirit to move freely. Why it matters: Fellowship strengthens your faith. Church provides spiritual covering, accountability, and a community that will help you grow.

  1. Join a Discipleship Class — Build a Strong Foundation

Discipleship will teach you the basics of your faith and help you go deeper in your relationship with Jesus. Most churches have discipleship classes. Why it matters: Salvation is instant, but maturity is a process. Discipleship equips you to stand firm, resist temptation, and live purposefully.

  1. Serve — Use What God Gave You

God didn’t just save you, He called you to serve. Whether it’s helping in church, evangelizing, encouraging others, or using your gifts in creative ways, you were saved to make an impact. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works… Ephesians 2:10
Why it matters: Serving keeps you connected, humble, and aligned with God’s heart. It’s how you grow, bless others, and fulfill your purpose.
